Although the compilers have done an excellent job of curating the best of all their albums, particularly the failed efforts of the last few days, there's still a lot of fringe material here. but it paints an accurate portrait of his career, while also featuring everything a casual fan could want and a host of rarities for the hardcore collector. It's a tricky trick to pull off, but Life & Crimes pulls it off, and as a result stands as the last word in a showbiz career that's really unlike any other.
